Nickname: Genji
I grew up in a family where my mother suffered from severe neurosis. I developed full-blown neurosis (social phobia, fear of being stared at) during high school (around age 16). Subsequently, along with the symptoms of social phobia, I became unable to form relationships, and this worsened further during my university years. I began to live a life avoiding interpersonal relationships, but I often had poor relationships at work and could not hold down a job for long. I would like to talk about my experiences with neurosis, Karen Horney, and Morita therapy.
